Quite often I'm asked how intuitive abilities work.
To be honest there are a couple of answers
depending on what theory I lean towards,
scientific or spiritual.
Scientifically it is known that sounds
and spoken words, travel on waves of energy.
After passing through various structures of the ear, they are changed into electric signals, transmitted via the auditory nerves, to the auditory center of the cerebrum, to be perceived
as sound. Followed are additional nerve impulses and
hormone secretions, which result in physical
reactions, emotional releases and
responsive communication.
Spiritually it is believed that our spirit guides
and angels whisper answers to us, or communicate to us
through mental telepathy or by emitting vibratory frequencies. Interesting enough, is that this communication also travels on waves of energy, which is received and responded to
by our body, in the same way.
It appears that the key factor,
no matter what theory, is energy.
When asked a question requiring intuitive insight,
I receive flash images, hear sounds, random words, a chain
of words, bodily sensations like chills, warm tingles and even physical discomfort, or pain. I may even receive feelings of sorrow, fear and happiness, or see bright light, even foreboding darkness. At other times I detect fragrances that are symbolic to the subject. All of this "data" is pieced together like a puzzle to help me develop my answer. Each word, or sensation is a prompt that is used to guide me in my response. Sometimes the answers come quickly, sometimes I have to concentrate more deeply, based
on my ability to catch and decipher the prompts. Momentary pauses are not uncommon, as I may be receiving, translating
and piecing together waves of valuable information.
In advising, spiritual counseling,
business, criminal and other investigations,
this ability is what guides me. Whether I'm assisting
with files, observing operations, or conducting research,
intuition in its greatest form (energy)
is my absolute foundation.
Imagine spirits and the possibility of past life,
then focus on energy as the core of all existance. Every
living cell has energy in its very center. Energy cannot be permanently stopped, it is always present in some form. It is constant, it can be rerouted, it can be supressed, but it does not die. An example of this is the energy that flows from power lines into your home. This energy comes from the sun, water, or other fuel sources to power plants and is routed through cables, to your walls, to outlets, to different types of appliances. The appliance can be broken and replaced, but a new one will eventually run
on the same energy source. The power company could have a
black out, but the energy is still present and abundant
within the universe, once their equipment is restored
and capable of receiving energy again.
Now focus on the energy center of every human
and see the physical body as the power plant, or appliance
that runs on the energy source. The human body is also nourished
and energized by nature. With time though, the body weakens and eventually breaks down and dies. Where does the body's energy go? It is very possible that it dissipates in its known form back into the universe. Most important is to consider that this type of energy is intelligent, because this energy has experienced human life and communication and can continue to do so. Remember, it's environment has been deep inside the cellular structure of the body systems. Like any other energy it is constant, free flowing, capable of changing form and adapting, but this energy contains the vibratory frequencies of the human spirit. Like the energy that is captured from a natural fuel source and routed through the power plant and into your home, spiritual energy
may have the potential to replicate this cycle and more,
but it does so in human form.
Although there is no absolute evidence,
it is possible that energy is how intuitives receive
prompts to derive their answers and how mediums
communicate with the other side. Keen sensory abilities
are used, to send, receive and translate data. In analyzing
past life experience, there is a possibility that the information being recieved, is being drawn from the deepest, most primitive part of the subjects subconcious. It is also possible that data is obtained from the spiritual energy core, which has traveled through time and is brought through our translation to consciousness, also on waves of energy.
It is believed all people are born with intuitive gifts
and that most humans use only eight percent of their brains potential. Some of us have simply developed the ability to sharpen our intuition, almost to the point of becoming magnets to the numerous information carrying energy waves,
that spiral throughout the universe.
